2003 Gabbas Cannonau di Sardegna Lilove: Gabbas is located near Oliena on the eastern side of Sardinia, historically an outstanding area for the Cannonau (Grenache) grape. These wines demonstrate the validity of this tradition, starting with the 2002 Cannonau di Sardegna Lilove, an all-stainless steel effort featuring ripe kirsch fruit with peppery, herbaceous accents, a soft, round texture, and more than adequate length.
