Robert Parker's Wine Advocate # 172 Aug 2007 Reviewer: Robert Parker | One might argue that there is not enough of a difference between these two wines to justify separate bottlings, but the producer (Gary Pisoni’s son, Jeff) obviously thinks so. The 2005 Syrah Garys’ Vineyard exhibits a dense ruby/purple color, big, sweet, smoky, berry aromas, grandiose levels of fruit, notions of smoke and tar, and a dense, round, opulent mouthfeel.
