2005 Culler La Palette Proprietary Red | 750 ML | $49.99 | a 91/9 blend of cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot Saturated ruby. Black fruits, licorice, leather, minerals and bitter chocolate on the nose. Dense, pliant and nicely concentrated, with a restrained sweetness to the fruit-driven flavors of blackberry pastille, licorice and violet. Ripely tannic and soundly structured on the back.
