| 2004 Etude Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, which I believe had just been bottled, is medium to full-bodied and exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color and a classic nose of tobacco leaf, black currant, smoke, and pain grille as well as new saddle leather. It is spicy, rich, pure and, like the 2003, opulent, but at present not as approachable. It requires 1-2 years of bottle age and, like most Etude Cabernets, should last 15 or more years.
