| The 2004 Columbia Valley Interlude is composed of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. This proprietary red wine shows a dark red color, and has a direct nose with expressive aromas of blackberry, toast, cherry cola, spices and milk chocolate. The flavors and feeling on the palate are very pleasant, with red cherry, black currants, chocolate, flowers and some minerals. This wine has definite age ability, but is really delicious now, with soft tannins, good ripeness and balanced acidity. 690 cases produced. Waters Winemaker: Jamie Brown | www.waterswinery.com |
